AK-47
The AK-47 is the most popular Assault weapon used in Call Of Duty 4 Promod. It is used because of its deadly damage and accuracy at medium-long range. The AK-47 is known for having high damage, and is able to defeat enemies at range easily in the hands of a skilled player. It is one of only 2 automatic assault rifles capable of killing in 2 hits at close to medium range, the other being the MP44. The AK47 has much less recoil and superior iron sites, making it the preferred weapon.
The assault class is used to support the SMG's in their rushes and to cover the open grounds. They also provide smokes and set nades, and play a mostly static role in team play.
